Statistics training
In almost every scientific study a basic statistics course is included in the curriculum. The reason is that science
progresses mainly by research, and appropriate statistical methods and techniques are an essential element in that.
In addition, advanced optional statistics courses are offered by Universities.
In practice, the knowledge of such basic courses mostly has been vanished or turns out to be insufficient when researchers need
it in their own research. Also the mutitude of avalilable statistical methods and techniques or the difficulties in reading
professional publications does not make statistics in general accessible. Although on the Internet there is many statistical
literature and information on statistical methods available, it appears from our experience that statistics trainings, basic or
advanced, for many researchers will be a good solution to increase their knowledge. The following courses are on offer:
basic course statistics
Factor analysis
Cluster analysis and discriminant analysis
Linear regression analysis
Logistic regression analysis
Propensity scores
Instrumental variables
