Statistical analysis
We can perform for you a complete statistical analysis of your database. You provide the data and we ensure the correct statistical
analysis. These include, depending on the problem, various checks on the data material, counts, simple cross-tabulations,
graphs and advanced statistical techniques. Then we discuss the results and if needed, we process it into a brief or extended
reporting.
Choice of statistical technique
If there are questions concerning the relationship between various factors in the analysis, its counts and charts are
insufficient and more advanced statistical techniques and models should be used to answer the research questions. A variety
of statistical methods are available to the researcher to best fit the type of data and design. The approriate method depends
mainly on the chosen research design (observational, experimental, longitudinal, etc.), the
research question, the number of explanatory factors, the number of observations and the distribution of the variables.
Besides the choice of the main statistical analysis there are many statistical choices to made in order to reflect the reality
that research seeks to identify. Regularly we deal with for instance the following techniques:
analysis of variance (anova),
linear regression analysis,
logistic regression analysis,
repeated measures analysis,
non-parametric tests (Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney, Friedman),
mixed effects models,
survival analysis,
propensity scores,
factor analysis and
cluster analysis.
For analyzing data we are experienced in then next statistical packages like:
SPSS, SAS, R, R-Studio, S-Plus, WPS, PASS and MLWin.
